Frances Arthur
Frances Arthur is the Founder of BANDIJ Co + Living Solutions LLC, a housing resource company dedicated to providing modern, community-centered residential solutions for everyday people seeking affordable, flexible, and supportive living environments.
BANDIJ Co + Living offers private and shared room accommodations within fully furnished communal homes, designed to foster connection, convenience, stability, and healing while helping individuals offset the increasing cost of living.

The Heart Behind BANDIJ
The inspiration for BANDIJ began long before the company was founded.
Growing up, Frances witnessed firsthand the power of compassionate housing through her mother and grandmother, who opened their home to people from all walks of life unwed mothers, runaway teens, individuals living with mental disabilities, and many others in need of safety and support. Their home was more than shelter; it was a place where lives were stabilized, burdens were shared, and hope was restored.
That legacy of service became deeply personal.
At just 17 years old, Frances entered active duty in the United States Army to serve her country. By age 21, she was a young mother navigating postpartum depression and a difficult transition back into civilian life after leaving the military due to family care responsibilities. Facing financial hardship and struggling to provide for her family of four, Frances came dangerously close to homelessness herself.
Through the kindness and generosity of a trusted friend who welcomed her family into their home, Frances found stability, healing, and the opportunity to rebuild. That support gave her the ability to return to school, earn her college degree, and re-enter the workforce with renewed purpose.
That experience changed everything.
Why BANDIJ Was Created
Having experienced both the uncertainty of housing insecurity and the life-changing impact of compassionate support, Frances knew she was called to create something greater a solution for others facing similar challenges.
Founded in May 2026, BANDIJ Co + Living Solutions LLC is more than a company name it is a call to action.
The name BANDIJ, inspired by the word bandage, symbolizes healing, protection, and restoration. Just as a bandage protects wounds, controls damage, and promotes healing, BANDIJ exists to provide safe housing environments where people can recover, rebuild, and move forward.
This is not about placing a temporary “band-aid” on a crisis. It is about creating intentional spaces that support long-term healing for people who may feel wounded by life’s circumstances—whether through financial hardship, transition, trauma, or displacement.
With tens of thousands of individuals experiencing housing insecurity across Texas, BANDIJ was created to meet people exactly where they are and remind them, they do not have to face their journey alone.

As a third-generation housing resource provider, Frances continues her family’s legacy of service by creating homes that offer more than shelter—they offer dignity, community, and hope.
